Prince got his Master Hunter Title
on March 16th, 2013 at 4 years old!
Wilson, from Polar Bears first litter, is the
best dog my family could of asked for! Thank you for giving us this gift.
Attached are a few of my favorite pictures. Also, he is the smartest dog I have
ever had. He taught himself to retrieve the paper with no training. Also, he
was potty trained within two weeks and never chewed. He is truly an amazing
dog! I will be sending some customers your way. Sincerely, Ethan
"Tess" at 12 Months Old.
Hello Belinda! I am not sure if you remember me
but my husband and I got our lab Tess from you almost a year ago. She was the
black and white collar girl from Lily's litter, same as your Zoey, born on
September 15, 2009. I wanted to email you because we celebrated Tess' birthday
last week with a little get-together and I thought I would send you a few
pictures of our sweet girl, just so you can see how she is doing. We cannot say
enough great things about her; she is healthy, so well-behaved (the vet told me
just yesterday that she is the best lab "pup" she has seen yet), sweet as can
be, and oh so smart! We are so happy with her and are very grateful to you and
HR Kennels (and of course, Boo and Lily) for allowing us to have such a
wonderful addition to our family. My husband is planning to take Tess for her
first hunt this year, so I will let you know how it goes. I hope you enjoy the
"Miller" at 11 Months Old.
Belinda, We just wanted to thank you for both
Miller and Dixie, they have both been wonderful companions. I have attached two
recent pictures of Miller. He's not quite a year yet (Lily's third litter), but
he had a bunch of firsts last Wednesday. He went on his first Dove hunt, first
opening day, and of course, I had to take a picture of his first dove
retrieved. Kirk Wichman did an excellent job training him, but his temperament
has received more complements. There were other dogs out there and he was by
far the best behaved. Some of the other owners couldn't believe he was 11
months old and was acting like an adult. Instead of running around with the
other dogs playing, he was right by my side the whole day, waiting to
work if only I was a better shot, he would have had more fun retrieving.

Belinda, We found Horizon Kennels in Sealy and
love it. Brian Lee is the trainer and he even complimented your dogs saying all
the dogs he's worked with from HR Kennels have been great (good instincts).
FIRST DOVE HUNT
"For a 13 month old, Prince did very well. Thanks to
LANCE's training. He was very steady to shot in spite of the chaos caused by
more than 50 shooters and several other dogs in the big field. Marked the falls
well & retrieved to hand with good form. Both Prince & I had great and
satisfactory hunt. "
"Abbey" at 1 Year Old.
"Hey Belinda, Our Goober Girl Abbey is one year
old today, so we are sending photos taken today. She is so wonderful, smart,
gorgeous (a tall 72 pounds) and loyal as well as the BEST frisbee catcher.
Smarty Abbey also passed the AKC Canine Good Citizen exam at 9 Months old,
pretty incredible as most dogs are at least 2 years old to pass. Next step is
to become a therapy dog so everyone can enjoy her company. Abbey is such a
STUNNING girl, just so fabulous! She is so looking forward to getting a sister
from you! Thank you for everything!!!! Judy "
"Tess finished her JH today. Nice
water retrieve on about a 120 yard mark. Not an easy way to finish but she did
Tess got her Junior Hunt Title!
The top two photos are from her JH Test in Port Arthur when she was 10 months

"Prince" at 5 years old with his
Belinda, Thought I would share a few recent
photgraphs of Prince. He is a great dog. Every morning, I take him for a walk,
exercise him, practice hand signals, dummy retrieves, and swimming. He has
never been sick a day in his life and he is now 5 years old. Never had to trim
a toe nail as he keeps them wore down. He is a very gentle, happy dog and
weighs 100 pounds. Good around people and other dogs. He has been bitten
several times, but he has never bitten another dog. . I tell people that he is
my exercise machine. Thanks for a great dog, Don
Hi, Just wanted to let yall know how happy I am
with the puppy I got from you (Zoey). She has been all that I asked you for,
(white, hopefully small, aggressive retriever, good house dog). She is approx.
9 1/2 months old now and 60 lbs. I figured she probably would be 70 so I am
happy she a little smaller. She was working out great as a house dog, until we
were displaced by the hurricane, and she has been great adjusting to the
changes since then. She is an absolute beast when it comes to retrieving, she
is wide open out and back and never tires. I have not been able to hunt her
this year because of the circumstances but I will next year and I think she
will be great. She is really sweet and we all love her. Again, thanks for your
help in picking the right litter and the right puppy. I am including a picture
that I took yesterday. Please don't hesitate to use me as a reference. Billy
I cannot tell you how pleased we are with
Pierce. More and more we are seeing that he is the perfect combination of
friendly and sweet natured family dog, mixed with wonderful hunting
capabilities. People constantly stop us and compliment on how handsome he is
too. How lucky we were to see your ad.
"Blanco" has received his Junior Hunt
Our bond with Blanco grows each day. We can't
imagine our lives without him. He continues to be the perfect companion,
housedog and hunting dog! Took him duck hunting last fall and he just wouldn't
stop and rest! So eager to please! He is a machine! :) Tracey and John from
